INDe RST Tom Floor Tom Bracket Rapid Set-Up / Tear Down

Katia de Peyer $ 54.00
RST Tom Floor Tom Bracket Rapid Set-Up / Tear Down RST Brackets allow you to setup or teardown your kit in seconds, maintaining the exact positioning from the last time! These brackets eliminate the use of wingnuts or keyscrews to tighten each connection point, and work as a memory lock to maintain positioning when disconnected. The tapered dovetail design ensures a solid connection, and retainer nub holds them in place until you want to tear down your kit. They can be used bolted directly to the shell (adjustable for 1 to 2in. hole spacing) for an ultra-low-profile connection point, or retrofitted in place of the clamp on any of their BR2/BR2XL/BR3 brackets or Slim-Bands for a lower profile/quicker setup suspension mount. The RST Base only extends 18mm (11/16in.) from the surface of the drum or bracket, so it makes packing into cases a breeze. These work great as brackets for tom mounting, floor tom legs, bass spurs or more. Please note that they are designed to function with a vertical load or force from a single direction is applied, so applications like cymbal arms or other accessory mounts are not recommended. Brackets are designed to fit 9.5mm and 10.5mm diameter rods/legs/L-arms. They can be adapted to fit 12.55mm and 12.7mm by replacing the keyscrews with longer parts. About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
