To celebrate with you, we worked closely with the Tama drum builders to create a professional quality instrument that is both unique and affordable. At only 40 available worldwide – A very limited snare drum. This beautiful hand-crafted Starclassic Walnut / Birch 7×14 is it! 6mm, 4ply Birch 2 inner ply of Walnut. The exterior ply is vertical Tigerwood in a Crimson Tigerwood Fade High-Gloss finish previously only available on Starclassic Exotix. Chrome hardware. Starclassic lugs and Die-cast hoops. MCS70A/B Throw-off and Butt.  MS20SN14C snare wires. Evans G1 coated batter and 300 snare side. Tama designed a Custom Dale’s Drum Shop 1982-2022 Ltd. Anniversary label inside each drum. It’s a beautiful drum for players and a celebration of 40 years helping drummers around the globe.  The overall breadth of tone and the feel of this drum is remarkable. About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
