Provenance 0.53ct Oval Cut Diamond Single Mine Origin Gold Ring

Katia de Peyer $ 99.39
Description This stunning ring from our Provenance Collection, features a single 0.53ct oval brilliant cut natural diamond, set in platinum with elegant talon claws and polished Single Mine Origin gold tapering shoulders set with round brilliant cut diamonds to enhance the oval diamond further. The oval diamond is a Botswanamark diamond, a fully traceable diamond that has also been certificated by the GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) as E colour and VS2 clarity. All diamonds in our Provenance Collection feature Botswanamark diamonds. Botswanamark diamonds enrich the lives of the people of Botswana. They bring economic growth, education, healthcare, wildlife protection and support communities in building a legacy. Each diamond carries with it a guaranteed chain of custody and a certificate of origin alongside a GIA certificate, ensuring you can be certain where your diamond originates from and of it’s characteristics. The 18ct gold used to create the rings in our Provenance Collection, is Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold. Gold that is kept segregated from any other material throughout the supply chain and is sourced from mines which are independently audited to operate to international best practice. Each batch of SMO gold is fully traced through the chain of custody from mine to jeweller, with a fully documented paper-trail maintained. SMO gold is supplied with a QR code, allowing you to see from exactly which mine the gold in your ring was sourced and learn more about the social and environmental impacts associated with your purchase. Our Provenance collection of rings have been crafted by our partner workshop who are a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and a member of the Created in the UK initiative. Fattorinis are proud to be part of both the Botswanamark and Created in the UK initiatives to bring to you a collection of expertly crafted rings of exceptional quality and beauty alongside responsibility, traceability and sustainability. About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
