This sweet little umbrella is exactly as pictured, even better. It’s a beach umbrella so the weight is not as heavy as a co al or patio umbrella. It is so nice to just put the post in raise the little umbrella make sure the legs are straight, popping to bass, or sand, fill the legs with sand, or beach items such : waters, sunscreen,flippers, goggles, toys. Nothing beats the aesthetic vibe of this classic throw back. You’re instantly thrown into a old Hollywood glamor beach shot. Not only is it beautiful, but creates cool shade for coolers, chairs, and bodies. Light weight, sturdy, protects against sun and wind. I found similar styled umbrellas this was better priced by hundreds of dollars. Comes with a carting bag. I have also used it in a umbrella stand my pool. So not only is it a beach umbrella that’s nice and lightweight, but can also be used next to the pool to give more shade and easier to set up. I was hesitant about buying the cream colored, as my life not reflect the ability to stay clean. The material on this umbrella is so easy to just use a hose and wash off, perfect for anyone living their best messy stained life. Love this classic and will be buying more in the other colors!!

About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power. A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976. She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017. Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
