Amethyst and Diamond Ring

Katia de Peyer $ 97.90
Description Featuring a single pear cut amethyst surrounded by round brilliant cut diamonds set across the finger, this attractive ring makes an ideal dress or right-hand ring. The strong, deep purple of the amethyst contrasts perfectly with the sparkle of the diamonds and the crisp 9ct white gold setting, whilst the polished band allows for finger-size adjustment in the future if required. The intense purple colour of amethyst has made this variety of quartz a popular choice in jewellery for many years. Chosen as the birthstone for Febuary and to celebrate 33 years of marriage, amethyst is said to bring calm and healing properties to the wearer, whilst the ancient Romans believed this vibrant gemstone would protect against drunkeness! A ring suited to many occasions, a dress ring is to be enjoyed as often as you choose, whether reserved for special events or as part of your collection to be worn daily. With different coloured gold and gemstone options to choose from, if you don’t see exactly what you are hoping for, contact us and we’ll be happy to create your personalised combination especially for you. As with all Fattorinis gemstones and diamonds, the amethyst and diamonds in this ring have been examined and selected by our in-house specialists for their impressive colour, brilliance and fire. A Fattorinis ring is a ring to be treasured for generations. Amethyst weight 0.88ct Total diamond weight 0.13ct 9ct white gold Matching earrings and pendant available

About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
