Description Attune yourself to the rotational frequency of the Moon with the radiant resonance of the Synodic Moon Gong. All Paiste Planet Gongs are precisely tuned to the rotational frequencies of the planets in our solar system. These frequencies are made audible thanks to the natural formula of the Cosmic Octave, discovered by Swiss mathematician and musicologist Hans Cousto. Sound: Your Paiste Synodic Moon Gong is tuned to the rotational frequencies of the synodic moon. Its incredible vibrational frequencies manifest in an awe-inspiring sound colour that conveys an unusual, unfathomable and mysterious atmosphere. Tuning/Fundamental Note: G#2/105.21 Hz Based on planetary calculation 3rd Octave G#3/210.42 Hz 4th Octave A4/445.86 Hz Diameter: 60cm/24″ Uses: The soothing yet powerful resonations of the Moon Gong can take you on a profound and wonderful journey through sound.. Paiste planet gongs are popular with music and sound therapists for sound healing, and are often used in sound immersions, gong baths, yoga studios and meditation retreats across the globe. The Paiste Synodic Moon Gong represents the Moon’s synodic period. This period is the time between successive recurrences of the same phase. For example, the time between one full moon and the next – as seen from the Earth. The Moon reflects light from the Sun, affecting tides, plants and our biological rhythms. It can be hidden while mysteriously in sight (new moon) or shining brightly in various phases. Let the Moon Gong shine its gentle radiance on you and help guide the ebb and flow of your life. About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
