ACME Dresden Dresser, Bone White Finish

Katia de Peyer $ 95.76
Elegant yet lightheartedly playful, Dresden is donned in an amiable antique white finish with hand-applied burnish over the many layers of stains and finishes that are manually rubbed on, providing depth and character to this classic group. The Rococo style is candidly represented in the classic ornamental features of Dresden, with the carefully chosen hardwood veneer inlaid, plentiful decorative carvings, and ample sizes worthy of a master bedroom. Antique White Finish: The Dresden Dresser features an elegant antique white finish that adds a touch of vintage charm to any bedroom decor. The finish creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, making the dresser a focal point in the room. High-Quality Materials: Crafted from a combination of wood, composite wood, and poly resin, the Dresden Dresser is designed to be durable and long-lasting. The use of these materials ensures the dresser’s sturdiness and enhances its overall aesthetic appeal. Casegood Construction: The dresser’s-case good construction is designed for functionality and ease of use. It features center metal glides, allowing the drawers to slide smoothly in and out. The 3/4 extension of the glides ensure convenient access to the entire drawer space. Dovetail Joints: The Dresden Dresser is constructed with dovetail joints, which are known for their superior strength and durability. These joints provide exceptional stability and prevent the drawers from coming apart, even with frequent use. Felt-Lined Drawers: All the drawers in the Dresden Dresser are lined with felt material. This adds a touch of luxury while protecting your delicate belongings from scratches or damage. The felt lining also reduces noise when opening and closing the drawers. Ample Storage Space: With multiple drawers, the Dresden Dresser offers ample storage space for your clothing, accessories, and personal items. The well-designed layout allows for organized storage, making it easy to find and access your belongings whenever needed.

About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
