MODEL: METEORE10TH UPC: From Caroline Guitar Company:Ten years – wow! We’re proud to announce the special release of our 10th Anniversary Special Météore. Limited batches will be made available to retailers and the public as we are able to make them. Bear with us, we’re pumped to make these things and celebrate a decade of this thing!Back in 2015, there may have been lots of reverbs out on the market, but nothing quite like Météore – and for good reason. While some builders were content to simply repurpose a Belton brick app note and celebrate a release, Philippe Herndon and Team Caroline were enjoying positive feedback from their Kilobyte delay pedal and wondering how a reverb could work with a similar frame. An analog preamp drives just the wet side for gain and distorted textures, while the size and feedback circuits can extend the “faux- spring” quality of the circuit all the way into an oscillating feedback that breathes and roars when cranked. And should the player *want* that effect on demand, the Havoc control allowed for that gorgeous feedback to be called up and interact with the controls to adjust for its severity. But beyond the wilder noisemaking, like many Caroline products, Météore shines for its versatility, and can be dialed back for gentler and natural sounding small room or spring sounds. If your amp didn’t come with a spring, Météore can still be your thing. In celebration of some of our fave old silver face test amps that we used for benchmarking our “daily driver” spring settings, we’ve made this special batch in silver and blue, with clear knobs that evoke the reflective steel and glass vibes of the Paris Metro stations (Ligne 14, Métro Est-Ouest Rapide) that inspired the original pedal.“One day an employee came in while I was playing and complained about the sound of the reverb we were working on, and he didn’t realize the pedal wasn’t on – it was the test amp I was comparing it to!” says Herndon. “That’s when I knew we really were onto something. It wasn’t just a wild noisemaker, though it had that in spades. It could be something a player could use every day, and then make it go wild.”Specs:Lo-Fi reverb10th Anniversary editionKeeps the original signal analogue and unaltered, whilst enhancing the spring reverb sound with controllable overdrive and decay to make it sound much biggerTrue bypassControls: Level, Attack, Reverb, SizeSwitch: Dark / BrightFootswitch: Effect bypass, HavocLED: Effect OnInput and output: 6.3 mm jackPower supply via 9 V DC mains adapter with 2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel connector, centre negative (compatible power supply: Art. 409939 – not included)Dimensions (W x D x H): 94 x 119 x 43 mmWeight: 450 gColor: 10th Anniversary Edition SilverHandmade in USAWeight: 20 ozDimensions: 6 × 4 × 3 in Questions about this item? About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
