Care & Maintenance Instructions Before Application: Clean hair and scalp thoroughly; ensure hair is dry or slightly damp before use. Patch Test: Apply a small amount on the inner forearm or behind the ear and wait 24 hours to check for any sensitivity or allergic reaction. Preparation: Mix the indigo powder in a non-metal bowl with warm water (or apply after a henna base if deeper colour is desired) to create a smooth, creamy paste. Application: Apply evenly from roots to ends (or just on roots for touch-ups), cover with a shower cap, and leave for 30–60 minutes — longer for darker, richer results. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid shampooing for 24 hours after application to allow colour to set naturally. After-Care: Use a mild, sulphate-free shampoo and nourishing conditioner to maintain softness and shine. Storage: Reseal the pack tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity to preserve freshness and potency. Competitive Advantages Natural Colour Care: Unlike chemical hair dyes that focus solely on colour, this indigo powder provides both rich colouring and holistic scalp & root care. Gentle & Non-Toxic: Synthetic dyes can cause irritation or dryness; Sojat Indigo offers a safer, plant-based formula suitable for regular use. Pure Composition: No fillers, parabens, or additives — just 100% pure indigo leaf powder for genuine natural colouring and nourishment. Better Value: The 100 gm pack delivers potent results without unnecessary bulk or dilution, ensuring you get concentrated herbal benefits. Holistic Hair Wellness: More than colour — it supports scalp health, strengthens strands, and reflects eco-conscious beauty rooted in Ayurvedic tradition. About the Author

Katia de Peyer’s first book Dancing with MySelf, Sensuous Exercises for Body, Mind and Spirit (Nucleus Publications, 1991; La Source Press, 2026) introduced her method of inner-centering through movement, hailed by Diane von Furstenberg as a whole new attitude about exercising. Her second book Enjoy Your Healing Power (La Source Press, 2025) is an intuitive, helpful guide for developing our healing power.  A ballet dancer born in Paris who lived in Spain to further her studies in flamenco, Katia moved to New York in the late sixties to start a successful career as a personal trainer. There she met the virtuoso clarinettist Gervase de Peyer in 1976.  She and Gervase married in 1980 and lived for two decades in the US and then in the UK until Gervase’s death in 2017.  Katia continues her work as a writer and healer in London and New York.
